Preparation

  • Preheat your oven and prepare the shortcake biscuits according to your recipe or package instructions.
  • Hull and slice the fresh strawberries, then mix them with sugar to taste, and let them sit for about 15-30 minutes to release their juices.
  • Whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.

Assembly

  • Once the shortcake biscuits are baked and cooled, slice them in half.
  • Layer fresh strawberries and whipped cream between the halves and on top.

Notes
