  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (such as oregano or basil)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and melted butter. Add the yeast mixture and minced garlic; mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it is smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size (about 1 hour).
  • Punch down the dough and divide it into small balls.
  • Place the balls on a baking sheet, cover them, and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Finishing Touches

  • Mix together softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and herbs.
  • Brush the garlic herb butter over the warm rolls before serving.

Notes
