Ingredients
  

Beef and Vegetables

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly) Use flank steak or sirloin for best results.
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, etc.) Fresh or frozen vegetables can be used.
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 inch ginger (grated)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For stir-frying.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving Optional base for serving.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger; cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Return the beef to the skillet, add soy sauce, and stir everything together.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.

Notes

Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions for an extra touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
