Ingredients
  

Apple Mixture

  • 6 cups sliced apples Use a mix of tart and sweet apples for balanced flavor.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Can substitute half with applesauce for a healthier option.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Pour the apple mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Reheat in the microwave or warm oven before serving.
